When does holiday season end in spain ?

im going on august the 24th to costa brava but will it all be shut and cold lol with no one there?

Although isn´t the hottest season, for sure will be there a lot of people....there is people who prefers this season....not school vacation....I think is better...:)

Don't worry. You'll find everything open on the Costa Brava on August 24th and thereafter. The summer season lasts until about mid-September and then begins to taper off. The biggest beach holiday months are, of course, August and July. Hope you already have hotel reservations made! It can be nearly impossible in those summer months.

And trust me, you'll still get a tan on August 24th and fighting for enough beach space to put down your towel..

it will still be hot and the season in full swing, with everywhere open for business. The high season is from may till end of september.  All the clubs and bars are still open from oct. to april but close down a little earlier at night.

The last week in August will be very busy. The Spanish take August off for their holidays. Combine that with all the tourists from abroad and it will be hectic. It will be great out there until November.

No Spain doesnt close for winter lol

August is probably the worst month to go it. it will be full of tourists. it summer holidays for the kids too. they dont go back to school until the third week in september. It will be packed and august is one of the hotest months. i live out here in spain and yestarday it was 39 degrees C.
