When does implantation bleeding happen? its the 20th my last period was the 25th so is this most?

likely my period or could this be implantation spotting? i am really hoping for a baby any advice would really help!

Up to 25 to 30 percent of pregnant women have light vaginal bleeding, or spotting, during the first trimester. In most cases, spotting is not a sign of a problem.  light bleeding in the first trimester is often caused  precisely by the implantation of the fertilized egg in the wall of the uterus. This implantation bleeding usually happens 10 days or so after conception.  also implantation bleeding is usually lighter and more irregular than a menstrual period. and one of the common causes of bleeding , vaginal bleeding are the changes in the cervix: During pregnancy, there is more blood flowing to the cervix. So it is more likely to bleed. as well having s*x during pregnancy can sometimes cause a small amount of vaginal bleeding. depends on how long your cycle typically lasts, and what day you ovulate on.  Implantation spotting is very scant and tends to be reddish-brown. If its implantation, its just a bit of blood when you are wiping after using the toilet, not lots of bright red blood and cramping like a period (sorry to be so graphic) that you need a tampon or pad for.

when did you ovulate? i think about 7 to 10 days after conception. that's why it's important to know when you ovulate and when your most fertile time is.
