When does it snow in China?

I'm planning to go to Hong Kong, Macau,Shanghai then Beijing I want to know when does it snow in China? ^^ is it cold during the winter season? Like how cold?

Roughly when it gets near or below freezing and the clouds can no longer support all the moisture in them. It's similar to when it snows everywhere else in the world.

as far as China is located in the northern hemisphere the snowy season is in winter (December, January, February)

however

it depends on the weather and the area

cities in the north will be covered with snow

while

cities in the south may only have some rain

cold is relative

like 0/+10 in the south and minus 40 in the north of the country

It does not snow in HK or Macau. I have never seen snow in Shanghai either. HK and Macau are quite pleasant even during the winter but bring a jumper. Jacket not needed there. Shanghai gets quite cold so bring winter coat, scarf etc. Beijing is freezing and the wind is a nightmare and it does occasionally snow. Bring the warmest clothes you have for this place.

In the Winter in Northern China and Tibet

Hong Kong and Macau are sub tropical like Florida is never snows there Beijing regular Winter like New York City
