It's been almost 4 months since I gave birth to my daughter and my skin down below is still stretched out so the last time I had s*x with my husband, s*x to me felt like tossing a hot dog through a hallway. My question is, "About how many months until our skin down below go back to it's pre-birth state?" I've been told to do my kegal exercises, which I have been doing, but how many months did it take you mother's? The skin goes back to its original state before pregnancy right? [Note: It's obvious that I'm a first time mom and I'm so clueless about this]

  1. honestly there is a big chance that it may never be as tight as it was before. I have had one and its not the same feeling. kegel exercises help but give your body time 4 months is not a long time.

  2. it can take up to a year for your skin to tighten back up. Exercise helps reduce tummy fat and tighten the muscles that support your abdomen (which helps reduce a belly that protudes). You can help speed the recovery of the tummy skin by eating a diet rich in nutrients (especially fruits and vegetables) which will help rebuild the tissue.

  3. It will never be exactly the same. after having my son I went back to "virgin" as far as tightness goes... and then back to my usual self after a while. Everyone is different.
