When does pumpkin pie need refrigerating?

Hi, I need to make a pumpkin pie to take to a leaving party but the journey will mean it will be out of the refrigerator for around 12 hours with no easy way of cooling it. Given the filling will it be ok to eat after this?

i think so, but why dont you put it in one of those picnic cool bags with one of those frozen blue squares? forget what they are called. sorry.
