When does "shroom " picking season begin in western Washington?

  1. In the spring or fall. Don't expect to get a 'harvest' of them. They're hard to find,tiny, and the local farmers know what you're up to,and will charge you with trespassing.  


  2. Think you have to grow those yourself...they don't just grow in the woods, you know.

    And don't EVER go eat a mushroom you've just picked in the wild!!  Sheesh...that's how a whole family died a few years back while camping...mom goes and picks mushrooms to add to the spaghetti sauce for dinner and...well, let's just say the camping trip was ruined.

  3. planning on having some fun? It's best to start picking them after a warm rain and in the early spring/summer before it gets too hot.

    Makes a wonderful tea.
