When does students from your country have summer vocation and for how long ?

In Greece we have summer vocation from 15 June till 10 September and we also have 2 weeks for christmas and 2 weeks for Easter but nothing else only some days 17/11, 28/10, 25/3 how it is in your country ? for example in Germany they have summer vocation from the end of July till 10 (mostly and depends in which city u are) they have the same christmas and Easter vocation and they have a some weeks vocation for other reasons 1 week for carnaval e.t.c How it is in your country?

In Canada the summer vacation starts at the end of June for younger students, and about the middle of June for high school students. Summer vacation ends after Labour Day which is the first Monday in September. There is always a Christmas holiday of a week or so, and one the same around Easter, though these days they try not to attach a religious name to these, so they are now called Winter break or Spring break.

it also depends on schools. in my school we have from the end of june until around september 3rd. we usually have 1 1/2 weeks for christmans. we only have about 2 days for easter and then we get a bunch of days off during the whole year like martin luther king day, christopher columbus day, thanksgiving, etc.
