  1. It has not even reached the draft stage before parliament. in fact I don't think a white paper has been published. So not yet

  2. Whether someone starts driving at 16 or 60 it's the same thing: inexperienced and dangerous drivers and the only way to gain experience is to drive.

  3. it will take a while for it to happen if they are actually thinking of changing the age of the legal age to drive. they had been thinking about the smoking ban law for ages

  4. It will be changing from 17 to 18 some time this year.

It will cause havoc if they put it up to 21 for cars - at the moment you have be over 21 AND driving for 3 years before you can legally learn to drive a Bus, LGV and HGV.

  5. I havent heard that it's going to in the UK, although not a bad idea! No offence...

  6. I doubt very much that they will change the age too 21 for cars

as it would have a adverse effect on our economy as people under 21 also need to get to/from work,

the law states at the moment that you have to be at least

    16 for mopeds/(cars if disabled)

    17 for cars/light goods

    18 for lgv's upto 7500kg

21 for all other vocational licenses

there is no minimum time for going from a car to lgv/pcv  licenses

  7. No, if you're born after September, 1992, you have to wait until you're 18 to drive.

21? I don't think that will ever happen.

  8. I don't think it ever will, but you never know what the government may throw at you next...

  9. it's 16 in Tx I have a feeling they electives will never get it to 18 or even 21....TOO MANY people need thier kids to help out and they need their dl

  10. it aint going to
