When does the average egg laying process take place?

what time of year do female igs usually search out a spot to dig a nest? when do they generally lay their eggs? how many eggs can they lay? i have a green ig book but i would like a more personal answer...each ig is diff right?

Turtles lay eggs in spring and in early summer,but the turtle needs to be 3-4 years old to mate.they lay 1-10.
