When does the boardwalk in Ocean City MD close ; ) ?

Can Anyone tell me when the boardwalk closes for the year in Ocean City Maryland ? Thank you very much for your time !!

My father in law has a house there and we always go down in October for the big car show and most of the stores close Columbus Day weekend.  However some of the shops will open after that only on the weekends.

Well most of the shops close by the end of september, but some shops are open year round. The beach is beautiful anytime of year and there is always hotels and restaurants open. So come and enjoy and hope you have fun !!!
