  1. Turquoise is greeny blue haha

  2. 6 or 7 pints usually !!.

    but seriously,

Turquoise = equal parts blue and green.

Blue is a primary colour, green is a secondary colour (mix of equal parts blue and yellow) so turquoise is 2/3rds part blue and one part yellow - but our brain isolates the lesser colour and makes it predominant = so therefore a mix of yellow (lesser but predominant in our mind) and the known dominant colour blue = green (so that is the predominant colour our mind perceives)

  3. turquoise is kind of somewhere between the two, depends where the light hits it to which it represents,

  4. Turquoise IS green...dark bluey green! ;)

  5. i thought turquoise was blue? i spose it just depends on how u see it is orange yellow or red?

  6. good question

  7. Hmmm--good question---I have NO idea;-)

  8. you might have sight colour blindness....if such a thing exists...

some people would say its a green hew and some people would say its a blue hue, it's like the tomatoe tomato thing.

P.S I spelt hue and hew but it means the same, I'm just not sure of the correct spelling...

  9. Eh?

  10. Colours do not have boundaries because they are perceptions that are dependent on environment as well as the properties of the object concerned.

...All of which means colour can only be identified by us agreeing what colour something is.

  11. I guess your right.. unless you wanna go into all these wierd colours that nobody has never heard of.. hehehe

  12. yes it is green to me too, I have many arguments about this colour but also red for others is orange to me

  13. They don't stop, they flow together.

Turqouise is the mixture of a hue of green and a hue of blue.

If you look at a colour wheel you will notice that the colours do not stop they gradually flow into each other.

This is the same with these two colours.

    Hope I helped!
