When does the fall foliage peak in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area?

Planning a trip up there this fall around october and i was wondering if the we'd be able 2 see some fall colors? Or is october too early or too late?

Oct may be too late for the north part of MN. Got to KSTP weather site

and specifically ask David Dahl ( weather man) See if he  can project some things and maybe you need to go to Rochester instead.

have fun and be sure to drink a rootbeer ( there was a lady who used to make her own and it was the best)

Maybe too late but this was a wet year.  Go to the following site for a general idea.  Nothing can be specific yet.  It's still too early to determine.:
