Most rainfall in Ireland is generally between January and December with the worst of it throughout the whole year.

I had the opportunity to live in Ireland for three years and found most of the rain to occur during the fall. It is a beautiful country, great people, and good entertainment. You will have a great time. Make sure to take advantage of all of the incredible tourist sites!!! If not you will regret it like I do.

well people usually say the rain started in October

1275A.D.

and has continued to rain since.

so all the time......

but inbetween the rain you can usually expect blissfully hot

downpours!!

It depends on where you are moving to, the west is much wetter than the east.

The west gets 1500mm of rain a year, whereas the east gets only 650mm, spread evenly throughout the year.

But it does rain practically all the time. I have learned never to go out without my umbrella...ella..eh..eh..eh...you know? hehe

it depends it could rain everyday and you could get a dry stretch it could be sunny one day and freezing cold the next generally we dont get warmer than 33 degrees cel in winter we generally dont go below -6 it would be a very odd day for temperature to go below 0

It rains ALL of the time...this time last year we were having a heatwave - i woke up yesterday morning at 7.30 and the place was white with snow - then at about 9.00 the rain washed the snow away and then the sun came out ...its not uncommon to have 4 seasons in one morning!

I couldnt say that it rains in the winter only because last year it rained every single day of the summer months!

It is very unpredictable!!but when the sun shines it is beautiful
