When does the new season of Lost start?

from what i've read, shooting starts tomorrow, monday august 18.  the first episode is called "because you left"  no word yet on who it will center on, or if it will be a centric episode at all.  word is, that there are at least four new characters added to the mix, but you should check lost blogs about that news.  also, in relationship news, according to the producers, kate will see sawyer again [this was said at comic con].  also at comic con, a video featuring dr. "marvin candle", who reveals his real name to be pierre chang, was shown.  the video is supposedly broadcasting from 30 years in the past, and the cameraman, although you never see his face, sure sounds a lot like daniel faraday.  this video is part of the new LOST ARG (check out dharmawantsyou.com) leading some to believe that when the island moved, it moved in time and space, 30 years into the past.

The fifth season of the American serial drama television series Lost will commence airing in the United States and Canada in January[1] or February 2009[2] and conclude in late May 2009.[1] Shooting will begin on August 19, 2008.[3] The season continues the stories of the survivors of the fictional September 22, 2004 crash of Oceanic Airlines Flight 815. According to Lost's co-creator/executive producer/writer/show runner Damon Lindelof, the season "is about why the [people who have left the island] need to get back".[4] The season will feature two new characters.[3]
