When does the volleyball season start & finish in the States?

School - college and High school - typical starts in Aug - Nov depending on playoffs.  The clubs teams start practice in Dec with season starting usually in Jan running to JO tourney in July.  Then there are some tourney's and high performance teams that play during the July time frame.  basically for the competitive level players it is a year round sport with maybe month off in July.  My daughter has played for this way for years ....

There is no real volleyball season in the states....i play on a number of different teams which keeps me playing all year long

Well for my high school, it starts in August and ends in October. If we go to State, it ends early November.

well lets see in Wisconsin my high school starts in the middle of July and ends in late November, 1 of the Clubs I play for starts in December and Goes till the middle of April, and my other club starts a week after my first club season ends and  goes till the beginning of June

Volleyball can go all year round. But in High school and collages, Volleyball starts around september and ends in the October-December area, depending on how well the team does.
