that depends on ur beliefs--- most religious calanders start on mon. b/c the bible states the 7th day he rest which is now believed to be sunday.  but with american culture and business the week begins with sun and run sun-sat. rather than mon-sun

According to the bible Sunday is the seventh day of the week, the last, not the first.  A standard week starts on Monday and ends on Sunday.
