When does this season of Amazing Race start?

I think I read somewhere it doesn't start until Jan.  This late for them they usually do 2 a year.

Usually CBS airs two seasons of Amazing Race every year, one in the fall and one in the spring. Supposedly the 12th season has already been filmed but they are waiting to air it until mid-season, January or February.

Some news about this years race, there will be no more "non-elimination legs!"

Oooooo......i can't wait!!!
