i want these shiny magazine images to blend in with the water soluble oil pastels, paints, crayons and pencils and pens etc. which create a matt effect. i live a small town in north india with very limited art supplies and so do not have access to modern acrylic gel mediums etc.

  1. Test a piece that you're not going to use, or another page, by putting it in warm water for at least 8 hours then dry it in the sun.  You can test more hours or less, to see what will satisfy you. Then you can do it with your piece.
