When downloading a program ?

and you get a bit torrent(crazy letters and symbols) what do you do next?

how do you "decode" the bit torrent, i am so lost and I am running on a mac.

thanks if anyone could walk me through this task i would appreciate it!

  1. You are supposed to open .torrent files with a torrent client.

    Transmission and Vuze are two well known clients for Mac os

    http://www.vuze.com/app

    http://www.transmissionbt.com/

    You don't "decode" anything. The torrent file you downloaded just contains information about the location(s) of the actual file.

    PS: Make sure you are downloading legally free content only.
