  1. Hand brake on every time.

If you are going to be at the lights for some time, I would take the car out of gear.

If for just a normal traffic light sequence I would leave the car in 1st gear with the clutch pedal in, so as I am ready for when the lights change.

  2. Always take the car out of gear at traffic lights. If you sit there

riding the clutch you will wear out the clutch release bearing

    faster.Also apply the handbrake.

  3. In a manual leave it in gear either with on the brake pedal also or with the handbrake on alot depends on the waiting time between light changes.Dont think i would ever put in neutral.

If i was going to be waiting a long time then yes but not for normal run of lights.

In an auto just leave foot on brake pedal and thats it.

  4. you stop??
