When editing in mixed format, HD and DV standard using Final Cut software.?

Can or will the DV footage be upconverted to HD within the program for finalization? I need another camera but can't "shell out" for another HD Prosumer at this time. Thinking about buying a Prosumer DV instead.

no it wont be upconverted.  But if you've shot everything well enough then you shouldn't have too much problem.  I'd actually recommend possibly softening the HD footage.  Thats what I would do though since I'm not a fan of the super sharpness of HDV footage or HD footage.
