  1. No but if you are underage and get caught drinking and gambling they will/have to call the police and you will be Black Balled in the State.

  2. Yes.

  3. It's against the law for anyone under age 21 to be in a casino, unless you're just walking through to get to your hotel room or a restaurant etc.

There isn't anyone who stands at the entrance checking ID though. Generally, staff won't ask for ID unless they see you gambling or loitering in the casino and you look under the legal age.

If you are under 21 and want to risk gambling anyway, winnings can be taken from you immediately and you COULD be arrested although usually they (the casino security staff) just kick you out and maybe ban you from coming back. Especially if you're belligerent or uncooperative.

  4. The correct answer is Maybe.  Casinos do enforce the age limits.  People are allowed to "pass through".  So it depends on your age, they way you look, and if you are just moving through or you stop and appear to be interested in gaming.

  5. no not always but if you look young and start to bet don't be surprise if you don't have someone standing behind you almost instantly asking for your id,By the way I was out there one time and a person under 21 won at a slot machine and when it came time to pay off instead of money they were taken by security off the playing floor.

  6. Only if you really look younger than 21.  They don't check you at the door because they are hotels too so everybody can walk through a casino, you are just not supposed to stop or play.  If they catch you they will just tell you to leave, nicely.  You can go to lots of casinos and spend all the time you want there.  Go into one and scope it out and you will see what I mean.  Also, it's better to walk around like nothing is new to you.  Don't hesitate or turn around several times or giggle, etc.  Act like you have someplace to go.

  7. If you even look close to 21 or under the answer is yes. If you look my age the answer is no.

  8. Upon entering .. NO ... but if you attempt to gamble or just linger around you will be. Anyone of any age can enter and pass through a casino ... you have to pass through to get to restaurants .. hotel lobbies or rooms. If you are over 21 but look under and you are ID you will given a wrist band to wear indicating that you have been ID and are over 21.

  9. depend on how old you are..you have to be 21 to gamble so be prepared if you're underage and get caught it was at one time a 1,000.00 fine

  10. It is actually illigal for anyone under 21 to be on the floor with the machines.

Some casinos have arcade rooms for youngsters.

To be on the floor without an adult will get the attention of casino personnel, and you will be asked to go back to your room, find your parent, or leave.

  11. If you don't look well over 21 you should expect las vegas Casinos, bars, and some shows to check your id.  Many years ago Vegas was run by the mob.  In the 70's and 80's they figured out there was a lot more money being legitimate than being crooks and now they play (mostly) by the rules

  12. It depends. If you look underage, probably. Casinos reserve the right to ID anyone at any time. I'm well over 30 and look about 17 when I'm dressed down in jeans, and I might as well staple my ID to my forehead for all the times I get asked for it.

  13. normally i get carded everywhere! i'm 22 and look 16, but in vegas my friends who looked older than me always got carded. just look like you know what your doing, or if you don't want to risk it, just stay on the paths that go around the gambiling carpet. so to answer your question, no they don't check id as soon as you walk in.

  14. Depends on how old you look!

  15. You could be if you don't look at least 21.  And you could be checked many times especially if you get near a table, slot or bar.

If you are only enterring to see a show or eat, usually as long as you keep moving no one asks

  16. I live here and my 16 year old sister goes in the casinos with me...I've never been carded, and my point is...neither has she.  There is so many people and stuff going on you more than likely won't get carded unless you sit down to play or you win something [which you don't know this yet but whatever you win...I get 50% of your earnings]. Bahaha.

  17. If you are young looking.

  18. I went from casino to casino all over the strip and was never asked. Maybe if you look like a teenager who has no business in their casino they might ask.
