  1. watch out for crabs

  2. All depends on whose tunnel and whether its the front or the back.

  3. be sure that you're lights are turned off. edge your way slowly through the tunnel. if your car bumps into something, reverse. and then slowly edge forward again. remember, keep your lights off.

  4. Ensure you've got a good red end to light your way, just in case it happens to be a Black Hole.

  5. Take a flashlights and make sure there is no prisons nearby

  6. Take off your sun glasses and turn down the radio.

  7. Try keeping your 'head' down!!

  8. As others recommend, caution, gentle persistent movement forward, and often retreating, followed by pushing a bit deeper into the tunnel. It is wise to have rain gear because such tunnels can be very moist and the possiblity of some sort of contamination is strong, at least in some tunnels in some geographic locations.

It is also important to have spare batteries on hand for the torche or torche shaped implements, and to be flexible in the overall approach. We never know what lies deep within. Caution, always, must temper your sense of exploration and excitement.

This sort of adventure is always a stiff proposition.

  9. Use a torch and wear stout footwear and clothing

Make sure someone knows where you are and perhaps lay down a rope trail so you can find your way back.

You should also ensure that someone knows when you are due back so they can call the emergency services for you in the event that you fail to exit through injury.

    Hope that helps ;]

  10. wear protection, don't get her pregnant.
