When entering school codes for FAFSA do I have to enter all the codes for my intended colleges, I was accepted into on college but in the end I decided not to go. I have now been accepted into a university that fits my lifestyle better but I am not sure if I will run into trouble with financial aid when applying to my new university. My question (concern) is with the school code I initially entered and if it will interfere with any matter at all?

  1. The University you attend will notify the government that you are enrolled in classes at their college. If the school and their code is on the FAFSA form you should be fine. If it isn't go online and update your form to include that school

  2. when applying for financial aide the school codes you put in should be your intended school you are going to go to and a back up. it shouldn't interfere with anything i applied to a few schools and put in 3 codes for schools and i never ran into any snags. best of luck.
