Since from 2006, I'm experiencing this strange phenomenon. It happens nearly all the time, whenever I saw clock in home, in my watch, any public places, on my mobile, on my computer (clock always shows same digits like11:11, 3:33, 5.55 etc). It happens 95% of time. I don't believe in anything except science. But, I still unable figure out this? Are they any one is facing the same issue? As a matured, well educated adult, I am sure that it is not happening by my intension.

Do you belive this, first time after few months my laptop crashed twice while posing this question...what a freak stuff...

  1. maybe it is just luck

  2. i see 11:11 all the time end even 11:11:11 when its a seconds clock

  3. It happens to me all the time since 2003, with 333...and at first i thought what is going on here, but after a while everything worked out beautifully, revolving around the number 333....Something is trying to get your attention....look up angels and triple numbers...>>> Doreen Virtue..you might find something there.....

  4. scientifically speaking - your mind subconsciously knows the amount of time spent and triggers when those times appear because you "find it odd".  Therefore, subconsiously your making yourself see this.

Another explaination may be the fact that though we "focus" on small parts of our visual field, we actually "see" more and again, here your subconsicous makes you "look" at the clock when your full visual field "sees" the times as equal numbers.  Seeing it, realizing it, and pondering it then become your habit.

  5. Sounds like the powers that be are trying to tell you something. Maybe look at the numbers and research them. Sorry much help.

  6. Any of the following phenomena may be occurring:

    1)  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confirmatio...

    2)  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Selective_p...

    3)  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neglect_of_...

    4)  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Von_Restorf...

    Cognitive biases...there's no escaping them.

  7. I experience seeing 11:11 often in various ways such as on the clock, train times, score on a computer game, etc.  I think that because I am aware that I see this number it makes me notice it more when it is there.  The number is quite easy to recognise visually.  I may see the time 12:53 even more but it is a less reconisable number so I don't notice.  Also, there has to be a number that I see more than any other so why not let it be 11:11.

  8. I keep seeing the number F all the time.  I'm assuming its hexadecimal.

    .

  9. I've been experiencing a recurrence of 11:11 as well. This is quite a strange phenomenon, and there is very little literature about it to be found. I, too, would see this number on wall clocks, computer monitors, digital car clock, etc.

Even more strange is the fact that your laptop crashed twice while posting  a question. I would say that there is some type of significance to your seeing double digits. Perhaps this sign isn't BAD, just a reminder that your life is in sync.

  10. i see the numbers 321 together all the time. i think it's counting down to something...

look into the law of fives. it states that all things relate in some way to the number five given enough ingenuity on the part of the observer.

but actually, the law of fives is designed to cause the observer to edit his/her perception of reality to fit the law.

basically, if you convince yourself that you see the same digits everywhere, you will only notice when you do, and that will further prove/feed the phenonmenon. it's a vicious cycle!

  11. First, allow me to congratulate you on realizing that science is a belief system that you choose to follow.

Second, under the system of science you wouldn't just guess a number but have to provide evidence to support it.

For example do you have a record of every time you looked at a clock, your cell phone, and your watch for a period of 10 days? What is the percentage of time that these numbers show up based on the data you collected?

What is the percentage of time they do not show up based on the data?

Do these numbers have any possible chance connection to why you would be looking for the time. For example if you go to lunch at 11:30 your biological clock (hunger) may cause you to look around this time. If you get off work at 6:00 p.m. or awake near 6:00 a.m.

As a matured, well educated, open minded adult I am sure that you can not choose to look at a clock, watch, or cell phone for the time without the intention to look for the time.

So, even if this can be explained by simple confirmation bias (and it can't in science without evidence to support this hypothesis) it is still happening in part because of your intentions.

The laptop crash was probably do to windows, a virus, and possibly an interaction with YA. One would have to eliminate all those highly probable explanations first before looking for a parapsychology explanation.
