  1. First of all, Guinea Pigs purr!?

secondly, if they don't normally purr than your room is cold or there is some weird **** going on in your room...maybe guinea pigs are paranormal sensitive animals just like cats....or dogs, it could be both!

  2. it could meen that he ffels more comftorble in your room and likes it when you bring him in there because he can probably smell your scent

and it could be his way of showing affection maybe he feels safer there and wants to thank you for it you should probably move his cage in there if its not already so that yall can grow closer

  3. Maybe he's scared of something inside your room, or maybe he's happy. One thing that may be happening is that the temperature in your room is too cold, or maybe you may have a stuffed animal that scares him. There are different things, just try each one out until he doesn't purr.

  4. He May Feel Comfortable In There

Or The Colour May Be Different And Make The Guinea Pig Feel Warm.

My Guinea Pipg Does It When In My Jacket Or Coat

  5. maybe it  means that your room is a comfort place for him like he knows where he's at and he lies that area and it comforts him.

  6. guinea pigs make a purring noise for 2 reasons. If its a gentle rythmic purring noise (like a 'broop broop' then its probably excitement...which becomes more like a weet weet!! when they get really excited, especially when food is nearby..They can also make a purring noise when they are irritated or annoyed. If his cage is in the room and he can smell food, then it's probably excitement. Its hard to say without hearing your guinea pig which of these noises he is making.
