  1. I am a 'bleeder' and my teeth and gums are fine.

Actually I think flossing really helps lessen the bleeding but there is always one or two that will bleed anyways.

What i do is first brush for 2 minutes then I use the floss with the toothpaste foam still in my mouth.. then rinse with mouthwash.

I use Crest ProHealth which I highly recommend. I stopped going to the dentist for 2 years and when I returned for a cleaning they found no tartar and said I did a great job of caring for my teeth.

  2. the more often you floss the less often you will bleed..flossing gets to the bacteria that a tooth brush and mouthwash can not reach

  3. it might be because your gums are weak. brush gently your gums for a while with tooth brush, and it might get better and try flossing again. if it still bleeds, then just don't floss.

also, gums may bleed a little from brushing gums, but it shoulden't be a problem if you want to make them not as easy to bleed..

  4. When your gums begin to bleed, that shows that they have not been flossed frequently and are not used to the pressure of the floss. Keep flossing regularly, and soon you will find that your gums have stopped bleeding altogether!

  5. Your gums are bleeding probably because you do not floss enough. That's a sign of gingivitis, so if anything you should start flossing more.

  6. the problem is you need to floss more, daily

  7. Over time they will toughen up and not bleed, but it sounds like you need to see a dentist. You may have gingivitis.

  8. theres probably nothing wrong.  its normal for your gums to bleed a little if you floss after not flossing in a while.  just do it more often

  9. Your gums bleed because you don't floss ENOUGH. Floss more often and it won't happen.
