When exactly does the third trimester start??

I have read on some websites it starts at week 27, others say 29 weeks..

I will be 26 weeks on Thursday and am confused as to when my third trimester starts?

you should read the book what to expect when you're expecting. i read it with all 3 of my pregnancies because i was always experiencing different things. it gives you wonderful knowledge about pregnancy and the birthing process.

At the COMPLETION of week 27. Also lots of places say you are considered term at 37 weeks, but really its at the END of week 37, so really it means week 38. Which is stupid and confusing I know.
