  1. when the spesies is very close to extinction .

  2. Population must be small, and declining.

But how small would depend on whether it is located in one or many places... so that no one grouping  is likely to produce many successful matings.

If a species population is declining in such numbers that we can predict the population will be soon be gone at this rate, we may decide it is in danger of extinction. There is not single number at which we can say this is endangered while with one more means it is at risk.

  3. the ones that are near extinction... they are the few ones left... like a tarsier...

  4. A species is said to be endangered when it is close to extinction. Extinction means that that animal's race has ended. Now endangered species are those that are just going to end, going to become extinct and there is very little of them left. And then the government takes measures to stop that species becoming extinct because i can harm the ecological balance.

  5. endangered species

any species of plant or animal that is threatened with extinction.
