When exercising, which is more effective? ?

i run on the treadmill everyday for a half hour. i want to switch it up a little so would it be better to do a week of running and then a week of biking the next week? or switch of running and biking everyother day? or run everyday, and bike on mondays and thursdays or something like that?

  2. Switch everyday or do both everyday. I think that it would also feel more interesting to do both as often as possible rather than just one for a whole week. I also think that your body would adjust better if you did both often.

    If you don't it might be more challenging every time you switch from biking to running.

  4. I think switching every other day or so would be good - it gives you more variety and less chance for getting bored.  

  5. i would switch running and biking every other day. Or you could run half an hour on the treadmill in the morning, and biking half an hour in the evening.

    BUT.

    Get off of that treadmill. It does some of the work for you, so you will NOT get nearly as effective a workout as if you went outside and did your same exercise on the pavement!

  7. most effective is when you have different intensity of execise each time at different period of time. Spend more time on lower intense execise and shorter period on high energy workout.

  8. what ever they are as equally good i reckon. try exercising first thing in the morning b4 breakfast and last thing at night b4 bed.  you will notice results in a week guaranteed
