  1. the fish in my marine aquarium get fed at the same time everyday and they know this cuz one fish that you never see comes out only when it is feeding time. otherwise I think the fish are just curious about what in the heck that big face is peering in at them!

  2. of course they do, if you normally gaze into the aquarium just before you feed them they do have a *selective* memory.

  3. it's more of the feed me thing, though im sure they think we're not half as beautiful as them! lol =]

  4. They think you are going to feed them. Fish forget that they have just gotton fed in a matter of seconds.

  5. fishes, likes dogs, have the ability to get into a certain feednig habit.

for example, if you turn on the light everytime before you feed the fish, the fish will relate every light-on moment to be feeding time.

not sure what fishes think when they look at the viewer from inside the aquarium but im pretty sure when your pet fishes look at you, they definitely think "dang, you sure are ugly!"

  6. lol my black and white skirt tetras love me! when they see me they swim against the glass and practically scream "IM HUNGRY! FEED ME NOW!!!"
