I have a 20kg baggage allowance. Does this have to be in 1 suitcase or are you allowed to have say 2 10kg bags?

  1. It doesn't have to be in 1 case

  2. they will let you have 2 suitcases at 20k.  As long as all your luggage is less than 20 k combined you can bring as much as you want.  however, after 20k they will start charing extra

  3. yes you are allowed 2 bags as long as it does not go over 20kg and you are allowed 5kg hand baggies as well

  4. Sure - two is better in a way cos if they lose one case with everything in it, you have nothing!

  5. It depends on the airline so you'll have to check with them.  Easyjet, for example, only allow 1 bag in the hold before you have to start paying...

  6. You could take 20 1kg bags if you really wanted to.

It just depends on weight. :)

    Have fun :D

  7. i'm sure that would be ok. i think you are allowed two bags, but be careful of the weight, because i know when i flew delta that they said they would charge me if my suitcase weighed more than it should. but they let me bring two bags and a carry on.
