When flying into Mexico to a resort with a 2 year old, what do you do if you don't have a carseat with you?

Are carseats provided in Mexico (Cabo San Lucas) either from the hotels or taxi's?

Definitely bring one with you. Things are pretty expensive in Mexico.

bring a car seat on the plane with you.  you can put it in the seat right on the plane.  gotta keep the babies safe.

No they are not. I would bring one. They are quite expensive here in Mexico.

Car seats are not required in Mexico, I know stupid huh, best to bring one with you and have a great trip

Nope, they are not law in Mexico.  You can pack one and check it with your luggage at the airport.  Carseats do not count as suitcases.
