Yes, you can. But you won't want to. You'll have a funny taste in your mouth for a while, just from the metal/glue being removed. Your teeth will feel slippery and funny, and they'll look bigger than you're used to, but you'll get used to it and love you're new straight teeth. They may also feel a bit weak and wobbly after you get them removed, but don't worry, that's completely normal. Congrats on getting your braces off!

they may say wait at least 1 hour. i don't exactly remember what they told me, it was 3 years ago.

They may tell you to wait a few hours. I don't remember what they told me, it was a few years back. Anyways, I don't think that you'll really feel up to eating. Your mouth kills after they remove the braces. There may even be some bleeding from them removing the back bracets around your molars.
