  1. Yes, line jumping is very rude and can quickly escalate into a fight. Keep the peace and stay in your place instead.

  2. its kinda rude.but i did tat few times, when i was really in a hurry n the lines were very long n tat cashier looked very new at his work..n of coz,i was able to do tat cuz i got the exact change

  3. Slightly. The four people patiently (or impatiently, whichever the case may be) waiting in line in front of you will not appreciate you totally ignoring them and treating them as non persons so you can just "slip to the front of the line" and go ahead of them.

  4. Of course it is rude. What possible rationalization could you have for cutting the line?

  5. I've desperately wanted to do that, but you will be interrupting a transaction going on with another customer and stopping the cashier's train of thought.  So, wait your turn.  Just hope the person in front of you isn't deciding which of 40 kinds of lottery tickets to buy.

  6. Of course it's rude. Other people were waiting in line to be served before you. Just because you have correct change and somewhere to go does not put you in front of others. Wait your turn, just like everyone else. If you don't like lines pay at the pump.

  7. It is bloody unforgivably rude and selfish

  8. Personally, I consider cutting in line rude in any situation. If there is a huge line at the register, why not just use a credit/debit card outside? If you really want those extra few cents' worth of savings per gallon, you can wait in line just like everyone else who is trying to purchase something.  After all, you're purchasing something, too. You just can't carry your purchase away from the counter in a plastic bag.

  9. yes even though you would love to you have to wait = ( sorry .......... Hope this helps you = )

  10. Yes, it is rude.  The person with the $40 can wait in line and take his turn like everyone else.  It's quite possible that others line also have cash.   Imagine the chaos if everyone were to just throw the cash at the cashier and drive away.  Being in a hurry really isn't an excuse; leave the house earlier next time.

  11. i think it would be rude but that's just me
