  1. Daaamn boy, I had surgeons cut my cornea open with a scalpel, all whilst I was awake and my eyes are sensitive. Tough it out, you will be fine

  2. i dont think you can because i tried to get my dentist to put me asleep for a root canal and he wouldnt because appartently its illegal and you need a team of a least 10 anasthesists in the room before they can do it, so i dont think the eye surgeon will be in a position to give you this. however if you really want, enquire could they give you 'floating gas' its a type of gas that relaxes you completely and makes you feel sort of as if your'e dreaming. good luck anyway

  3. They deaden your eye and imobilize it, But you sdtill need to be able to answer them when they talk to you and also you need to look at the target that they have in front of you. You should go for a lasik conslutation. Most reputable doctors do the consult free of charge. I think you would be surprised at what they do and how easy it is.

  4. Umm actually you really can't be put to sleep for Lasik because they need you to focus on staring straight, even if at some points your eyes are closed. And you can't do that if you are unconsious.  But trust me, it really doesn't hurt, and they give you a ton of drugs that make you so relaxed. You seriously feel high. Haha. Seriously tho theres nothing to worry about.

  5. You can't be put to sleep for that. Talk to the doctor.
