In the end it just saves you money. What credentials do news agencies have? Don't think it really matters. The green geeks and other doomsters claim that the earth is going to be destroyed in so many ways.

Outer Space ice rocks slamming into earth killing us like the dinosaurs.

The mega volcano explosion that is bound to occur in Yallowstone Park. Not to mention the other huge volcanoe explosions around the globe being predicted.

Forget the earthquake waiting to happen in California, the New Madrid Fault in MO/IL will wreck havok too.

Coastal flooding due to polar melting is the least of our problems...the water currents will stop causing much more problems than rich folks homes going under water.

We can't forget that our world population is going to grow so large that our food supplies will not be able to support all of them causing starvation.

And finally, we can not dismiss the end of days that Christians, Nosterdomus (sp?), Aztecs, and others have predicted in the year 2012.

Here is the real deal, any of these things surely can happen. But, why worry about it. Most of this could happen as you were reading this. Live life to the fullest. Believe in a higher power if it makes you feel better about things. Do what you can to save the world if you feel compelled to do so. But, just live life as you can. The Serenity prayer says it all.

God grant me the serenity

well you won't be alive when or if it does, so it doesn't matter, but if you did live for another 200 years, you'd probably be smart and move toward Russia. It has a vast amount of natural resources which are hard to get to because of the vast ice sheilds, so eventually Belerus will be a lush forest and Russia will be more like South America.

i think till then, science would invent something by which we would protect ourselves from radiations of the sun.

a forest would be a good place or we will have to plant million of trees.

i think a law should be made that every citizen has to plant 20 trees in the life or more if they wish to because a tree takes 10 yrs to develp properly.

You're assuming that the current warming trend will somehow bring about catastrophe when there is no evidence that it will.

The FACT is that the climate is always changing, with or without human activity. Earth has been warmer in recorded history than it is now, and also cooler than it is now. The climate was warmer about 1000 years ago and civilization flourished. By contrast, about 400-500 years ago we were in a "little ice age" which was definitely detrimental to society.

Don't buy the Alarmist line that we're "killing the planet" (not possible BTW). Look at all the facts and think for yourself.
