When going on a crusie do you like the days at sea?

when ever i go on a cruise my friends think i should like going on the islands and beach but i just love being on the ship surounded my water is that weird?

NOPE, I have been on 2 cruises and I love to go on the islands. That the whole purpose of the cruise to me. I will tell you one thing. I love to hang out by the lido deck and look at the water. that is the best, because you can literally be in the sea and not see anything for miles. LOVE IT.

Naw thats not weird! I love the ocean and I love going on Cruises! I normally do get off the boat to do excursions and such but "at sea days" are very relaxing! No set time to do anything except exactly what you want!  Godspeed!

I just like being on the sea. Like you I think the days at sea are the best. On a cruise ship you can be as busy as you like or you can just relax and enjoy the day. There are plenty of areas on the ship where you can just watch the sea going by.

Other than the need for "days at sea" because of travel time and distance, there are planned activities.  You do not have to attend any of them.  You set your own schedule for those days.  I have travelled with many groups my age and older; there are lots of guests who have been to the islands so many times that they would rather spend time onboard, in the sun, reading or swimming.  I've tried it, too, but I just need to get off for an hour or two to stretch my legs and get "landlocked" for awhile before returning to the ship.

Days at sea is the best part of the cruise!  I enjoyed watching the water and we even saw flying fish!  Had to actually look them up on the Internet when I got home!  It's so relaxing on the ship where you don't have set plans or wondering where to eat.  Not too many vacations can claim that!

I love sea days because you don't have to worry about getting off or on the ship. Last year I took a 29 day cruise, so we had many sea days. That is when you really can relax. I also like going to the art auctions during sea days. They are very entertaining and we have bought 4 pieces of art from different cruises. Other times, I go watch a movie or a lecture or exercises too. Having a balcony during sea days is the best part, just watching the ocean go by.

I like sea days as well.  I cruised with a couple who don't even get off the ship anymore. lol

It's relaxing to spend your day how you want without feeling like your missing something.  Even so, I did keep fairly busy on sea days - worked out, got a massage, did two wine tastings (not on the same day).  Looking forward to the next cruise.

Days at sea are very relaxing.  I don't like itineraries that have too many ports in a row.  They are too tiring.  Then you need a vacation to recover from your vacation.

I also like to have a day at sea as the first and last full day of the cruise.  I went on one cruise where the first day was in port.  By the end of the day I was dead.  Fortunately the next day was a day at sea.

Nonetheless, I like to sit on my balcony and just watch the world go by.  Add a dip in the pool and life is good!
