  1. in the afternoon when u r 2 feet into the water

  2. Don't worry about the sharks unless you are surfing in south africe or australia.  I have surfed in socal, the florida panhandle and mexico for 46 years and I've only seen maybe 10 sharks.  9 of which where no more than 6 foot and mostly dusky sharks and small bulls.  They don't normally like what surfers taste like.  The dude that just got eaten in florida was on one of those baited photo deals where they chum the sharks up.  It's stupid.  But the best time to surf is early in the morning and in the evening.  That just happens to be when the sharks like to swim around so you may see one.  But I've never heard of anyone in my area, san diego, get bite for many many years.  There were a few deaths in La Jolla in the 30's or 40's but never in my life time.  Good luck, good surf

If you do see one get your arms and legs up and tight to your body so you don't look like the shadow of a seal.

  3. mid-day

  4. the safest time is in the morning if your gona swim

  5. in australia

    get out by dusk

thats when the 10 metre ones come out

    and the surfers go in

  6. Based on your question, I assume you will be swimming, not surfing. There are sharks everywhere. There have been sharks everywhere for centuries, however, aside from a select few places in the world, there have only been people crowding into the ocaen for about the last hundred years. And, considering the number of sharks, we co-exist pretty well. Sharks don't like humans, we just don't taste that good. Unfortunately, by the time they spit us out, they have usually done enough damage to cost life or limb.

Where you will be swimming will dictate what are the most common species of local sharks. Different species have different favorite food sources. For example, a surfer on a surfboard in some California waters looks mighty like a seal to a Great White patrolling ten feet below the surface. Seals are a Great White's dinner preference.

Without being too general, people swimming, surfing etc at daybreak, dusk, or in murky water are more likely to be attacked by sharks mistaking them for prey. So, swim in bright daylight in an area where there is not a good natural source of shark food. For example, don't swim where there are schools of menhaden running just beyond the surf line. That is like a shark's version of "Old Country Buffet."

I have surfed twenty yards from a shark, and not been particularly scared. I had one terrify me while diving, so I guess it just depends on what kind of shark, and what conditions you see them in.

In my opinion, bull sharks are just the plain most dangerous man eaters alive. In the US, they are pretty common in the Atlantic from Georgia to the Florida keys. They even stray into littoral areas, and have been found in fresh water.

  7. Depends where you live. In Hawaii they will tell you stay away in the early morning and in the evening sharks like to eat at those hours. In S. Cal. you are fine at anytime. Shark attacks are very rare in that area.. The only thing to worry about is those dam sea lions they attack at any hour and they scare the c**p out of me too. LOl.

I am sure sea lions are safe too but they will come right up to you. I was told they attack..

  8. Sharks eat in the morning(4am-8am) and ate night(5pm-8pm) about. Try not to wear things that attract sharks like shiny watches and don't go more than a mile out. Try to go surfing with friends.

  9. if you're in the water, you're in the water with sharks whether you see em or not. time of day doesn't matter, just don't worry about it. the probability of getting attacked is about the same as me getting laid with a teacher. hope this helps.

  10. morning/high tide

  11. sharks are always out and about in the water, its not like they can get out (they'll "drown") or stop swimming (again they will drown they need to constantly have water moving over their gills).  that being said while sharks are always present they usually feed around dawn and dusk when the sun is low in the sky.  also where you swim can affect the probability of a shark attack, dont swim directly after a rainstorm or near a river mouth or inlet where the water can be very murky.  also stay away from the area between sand bars since that is where sharks cruise for food.  hope this helps and you keep all your limbs

  12. AAAAAA! I know! Sharks Everywhere!

Everybody who goes in the ocean gets attacked by sharks!

5 Trillion people don't get in the water every day

    Your not from the midwest!

Let's ask Jeff Foxworthy what he thinks:

If the sharks freak you out.

you don't belong in the ocean.

    If you are asking this

you don't belong in the ocean.

If the picture of your avatar thing happens to be a wolf

you don't belong in a the ocean

    you are rediculous
