  1. 1. wear protective wear ( goggles, apron, gloves etc.)

    2. dont smell, breathe or put the chemicals near your eyes or face at any time

    3. make sure to follow procedures word for word and always double check the chemical lable

  2. they are all right but no one got the most important rule...know what you are handling.  toxic is not a simple category.  Would you treat plutonium, cyanide, gasoline, and dog poo the same?

  3. I am going to guess

    1. wear protective clothing

    2. do not mix them improperly

    3. always have safety equipment such as fire extinguishers and hazmat supplies close at hand.

  4. wear goggles

    don't smell them

avoid contact with skin or clothing

  5. Protect your face and skin against contact

Have a safety shower nearby in case the worse happens

    never do it alone

  6. Know what they are and what specific hazards are involved. (Eg. look at the label or the material safety information data sheet or pay attention when somebody is telling you what not to do with a chemical.)

Protect yourself from those hazards. (Fume hood, gloves, etc...as appropriate.)

Protect other people from those hazards. (By cleaning up after yourself and labeling and disposing of things correctly, for instance)
