  1. Christopher Columbus led the way to the major exploration and settlement of the western hemisphere.

Harry Truman changed the world forever when he decided to drop atomic bombs on Japan.

Elizabeth Pankhurst and her daughters changed the world for women by leading the fight for the vote for women.

Thomas Edison brought light into the world with the invention of the light bulb.

Abraham Lincoln changed the world by emancipating slaves in America and keeping the United States together through the Civil War.

  2. When the first guy banged two rocks together to see what would happen.  All human civilisation depends on this moment.

  3. When human change his thinking as what I have done for somebody instend of thinking what have somebody for me.

  4. Ts'ai Lun is credited with inventing paper

  5. How about Bismarck? He's credited with engineering the three wars that turned a grouping of independent states into a unified Germany. Without him, the process might have taken much longer and had a somewhat different outcome - with, of course, enormous implications for the course of twentieth-century history.

  6. Consider, no idea comes from a committee, rather it always initiates from the brain of a single individual.  Yes, you need relationships within groups for ideas to move out into the world at large but all ideas are single person in origin.

Even though the idea comes from a single individual, that person almost always stands on the shoulders of others who preceded that individual who contributed other ideas and processes.  Even so, it is the individual who births a new concept, a new process, a new approach, not the group.

One who contributed to the modern world in a major way is Nikola Tesla who (among many other ideas and inventions) developed the idea of Alternating Current.  Without that idea and the practical inventions of the Alternating Current generators we might still be trying (not very successfully) to run the world on Edison's Direct Current concepts.

But even with his great mind and ideas, Tesla would not have made much progress with out the assistance of others such as Westinghouse who financed the first Alternating Current generator at Niagara.Falls.

Without Tesla's great ideas and Westinghouse's ability to put together businesses and the associated finance and sell the final product and services we might not have our modern world.
