When he's just not that into you?

this person's been giving me little hints for like two years, but i can't go into detail and yes, he is single. so my question is, if he were in love, he would obvioulsy have done something by now, right? i know it's silly to ask, but i had to. thanx

If he's been flirting with you for 2 yrs but hasn't made a move to ask you out then there are only 2 possibilities:

1) he's truly just not into you and you need to move on!!!!  he's keeping you on a string w/ the hope of something happening.  do you know how pathetic that makes you seem to him?  Do yourself a favor and stop hanging on for him!

2) he COULD be painfully shy to the point that asking you out is just beyond something he could do.  If you think that's the case, then there's only one thing left to do - you ask him out then you'll know for sure.  If he acts all sheepish but accepts then you have your answer.  If he stammers and gives an excuse why he can't, then you have your answer.  Either way, you'll have an answer and you can move forward from there!

Just ask. I dont know why people have such hard times asking. Just say i have a really good time when im with you, and sometimes i think we could be more than friends, do you think you could put up with me?

having an underlying humor will lighten the mood, and if he says no you're just a friend, then shoot back,
