It's been six months since my ex broke up with me.

When we broke up, he said that since the relationship was long-distance, I'd be better off without him, especially during my freshman year of college, because he doesn't want me to feel tied down. I was so ticked.

But I was talking to him yesterday (I started talking to him two weeks ago to establish a friendship since he's a good guy), and he asked me if I am truly over him.

I said I am for the most part and that I'm in a relationship again.

Then I asked him why he asked me that question, and he said, "I just like to ask random questions."

Why would he ask me something like that months after the breakup?

  1. he still has something for you.

  2. Anyone who asks random questions, is a jerk and pretty much an ashole. Steer clear of this chump.

  3. He just wants to know if you've been suffering since he unofficially dumped you. But hey! He's a guy. Boys can be really unpredictable some times.

  4. He is feeling stupid for what he did and want another chance.....

  5. He's just fishing for an open invitation.  He probably wants you back now...don't give in to it.  He's an ex for a reason...stick to the game plan.
