I had the same problem. There's a limewire forum.

I downloaded a new 'Gnutella file'. Copy and paste it into the location stated.

restart....at the bottom left it shows the connection make sure thats up, also when u search there is a little tab where all the search finds show right, right click on the word u searched for and select retry or it says somethin like that
