You are nutz, I don't think anything will happen really other than the fact that if it turns you on that much to achieve and erection in the first place then it will probably remain the same as long as you have it there. If I were you I think I would think of a more practical way to get aroused, and maybe something a little more discreet...

What you are doing is not uncommon.  Guys like to experience good feelings and vibration will give you that.  As long there are no chances of the filter trapping you, then I would say it's Ok.  Also, don't do this if others are in the pool.
