When i click on a hyper link in email or Word does not connect, but used to!?

I think i changed something in tools tab - internet options - advanced or security.. Please help!

  1. Try holding down the Control key when you click on it.  I've had that happen occasionally on emails I get at work.


  2. Sounds like you may have changed the sensitivity of links to a mouse click.  Here's how to find out and to change it back, at least in versions of MS Word prior to Word 2007 (Vista):

    1. Click the Tools->Options menu item.

    2. Click the Edit tab.

    3. Examine the Use CTRL + Click to follow hyperlink checkbox.
