When i connect more than one computer to my modem?

Question

The internet connection is lost.

if i take the rest out and keep one, it works. (after reseting it)

my internet connection isn't that good, but that doesn't matter because a while back we used to always keep 2 in, and they work perfectly.

so can anyone help me? :D

It sounds like you might have the router set to assign the same static IP to both of your computers.

Let the router assign a unique IP to each computer connected to it.

check the LAN settings of each computer

go to start > control panel > Network Connections, then double click the Local Area Connection. Go to properties, double click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), make sure that everything is auto obtain.

then do this

click start > run then type 'cmd' press enter

type on the prompt 'netsh winsock reset' then restart the pc (both computers)
