When i connect my ipod shuffle to my computer my songs don't show on itunes ..

can anyone help me please ..my songs from my ipod dont show on itunes when i plug in the usb cable...it dosnt even tell me if its connected or not....wot do i do ??

try resetting the ipod.  hold menu and centr button till screen goes black then when  the apple lights up plug it into the computer with itunes running and it should appear.

then check for updated software in the ipods tab. if not select restore.

Sounds like you've a faulty USB cable, if your ipod is working then that shouldn't be the problem. As another check, make sure itunes is updated to the latest version. Bring it into a local music player store and see what they say as well but my feeling is the USB.
