  1. If your laptop CAN find other networks around your house but it doesn't find yours, then there is something wrong with the configuration of your wireless router. If your laptop CAN'T find any wireless networks at all then most likely you need to turn on the wireless on your laptop. Usually depending on your laptop it could be a button in the front or a key or a combination of keys such as the Fn (funtion key) and the F2 (wireless) like in my Dell Laptop. If you do press this and it doesn't work let me know if you want I could walk you through a few more troubleshooting. If it is your Router log into it and turn on the wireless and make sure you are sending the right IP Address.

  2. ok u havet to chang your laptope bk to the land line so it wont see the wi fi oly as the inter   net  reader

  3. if you are using xp try to remove your friend's network by doing this, GO TO START>CONNECT TO>WIRELESS NETWORK CONNECTION>VIEW WIRELESS NETWORKS> CHANGE ADVANCED SETTINGS>WIRELESS NETWORKS, then from preferred networks remove you friend's connection by selecting his network then remove. Now try to connect to your own network. I hope this works. Good Luck!
