When i copy a dvd to my hard drive the words do not match the lip movement?

  1. There are several things that could have happened:

    -Your software is not properly aligning the video with the audio. You may want to try re-installing the software or moving to a new program. There are several programs (including Handbrake) that may do a better job of making sure everything matches up.

    -Your computer is processing the DVD poorly. This may have to do with the amount of RAM you have or your DVD burner. This is very unlikely, but has been known to happen.

    -Your DVD has marks/scratches or is of the wrong format. Check the DVD itself to make sure you don't have any problems with the aligning of audio and video. Again, not very likely, but it can happen.

    Honestly, it's likely the software. You would be best served by switching programs to something that has a little better syncing capabilities. Depending on the format, there are a number of (free) programs out there that you can use.
